SRC Collaborates with Innocorps Research Corp. on an Award-Winning Project for the Department of National Defence’s Pop-up City Contest
Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) recently awarded a $2-million prize to the Circular City consortium— the winner of DND's Pop-up City contest. SRC's Integrated Energy Systems team collaborated with Innocorps Research Corp. and a consortium of tech companies to develop the world’s first demonstration, rapidly deployable microgrid capable of recycling wastewater to purified potable water for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Today, multiple Saskatchewan organizations signed letters of intent (LOI) with Khalifa University of Science and Technology to jointly explore collaborative projects. Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) signed an LOI related to the operation and industrial applications of microreactor technology.
Today, Premier Scott Moe announced $80 million for the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) to pursue the demonstration of a microreactor in Saskatchewan.
