SRC operates two Climate Reference Stations (CRS), one located in Saskatoon and the other at the Conservation Learning Centre (CLC), which is southeast of Prince Albert, Sask. These stations provide high quality and consistent climatological observations that track the increased climate variability on the Prairies.
Both sites are classified as principal climatological stations with supplementary climatological observations. Both follow World Meteorological Organization and Environment Canada standards.
