Meet Jeff zimmer – Manager, Environmental Analytical Laboratories

Jeff’s career started with SRC over 36 years ago. During this time Jeff has held various positions with the most recent being the manager of SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories, which is one of Canada’s most complete analytical chemistry laboratories. Learn more about Jeff's career at SRC.


Meet Jenna Smith-Windsor – Lead Technologist, SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories

Growing up with a love for chemistry, math and physics led Jenna to a career at SRC in radiochemistry. Technology, math and science are always evolving and to Jenna, this allows her the opportunity to learn every day at SRC and see technology advancing. 


Meet Lesley McGilp – Vice-president, Energy

As working toward net-zero becomes critical for industry, Lesley leads her team through these important challenges to help clients meet their goals. Throughout her career at SRC, Lesley has worked in different groups, like Process Development and managing the Pipe Flow Technology CentreTM, and a variety of industries before her current role.

“The dynamics of SRC and the fact that it’s always changing are by far the best parts about working here,” says Lesley. “With change comes opportunity, and SRC allows its employees the ability to grow their skill sets and continually learn.”

Meet Mike Menzies – Remediation Field Specialist 

As a Remediation Field Specialist at SRC, Mike has been the field lead for the 35 legacy Cold-War era uranium mine and exploration sites in northern Saskatchewan, as part of SRC’s Project CLEANS team since 2017. 


Meet Mars (Peng Luo), R&D Technical Advisor

Moving from China to Canada to complete his PhD, Mars joined SRC after graduating and hasn't looked back. Coming from an academic background, he finds interacting with oil industry professionals, while doing applied research, very rewarding.
