SRC supports initiatives that align with its mission, values and organizational priorities.
When evaluating sponsorship requests, SRC considers the following:
- Does it support science, research, technology or education?
- Does it support the community, environment, Indigenous reconciliation, industry or other stakeholders?
- Will it lead to business opportunities or industry visibility for SRC?
SRC is unable to provide sponsorship support to:
- Political candidates, parties or lobbying organizations
- Regulatory bodies
- Religious organizations or events
- Activities primarily intended for personal benefit rather than broader community impact
- Initiatives that are not aligned with our mandate, values, strategic priorities or governance requirements
