SRC has been given the green light to resume work this summer at the Project CLEANS sites; operations resumed in mid-July. New COVID-19 safety protocols were developed and have been reviewed by northern leaders and the Athabasca Health Authority. SRC will closely monitor the situation and looks forward to a safe and productive field season.

Update June 1, 2020
During the COVID-19 crisis, first and foremost, SRC’s goal is to protect employee and community health. As a result, SRC is suspending all northern on-site activities for Project CLEANS from April 5, 2020 until further notice.
Project CLEANS is SRC’s remediation project collectively of the Gunnar Mine and Mill Site, 35 Satellite Sites and Lorado Mill Site.
