The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, announced the nation's newest Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research, Natural Products Canada Inc.
Natural Products Canada will help establish Canada as a global leader in research, development and commercialization of natural products, focusing on nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals; functional foods and food ingredients; agricultural products, animal feed ingredients and veterinary care products; and green replacements for chemically derived products.
SRC is part of the Saskatchewan team that will provide significant value to this new initiative.
