Jack Z

Jack is the Associate Vice-President of Strategic Technologies. He has over 20 years of extensive industrial, engineering, operation and research experience. His main areas of focus include the processing of rare earth, uranium, potash and phosphate, rare metals, lithium, industrial minerals, as well as tailings/mine water/effluent treatment. At SRC, he has led and supervised numerous mineral processing, metallurgical testing, optimization and R&D projects for global clients.

Mike Mc

Mike, P.Geo, is the Manager of the Saskatchewan Research Council’s Sorting and Separation team. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. in Geology. He has 17 years’ experience in laboratory techniques of diamond processing, including micro diamond extraction by caustic fusion and kimberlite processing by dense media separation for macro diamond recovery. More recently, Mike has been involved in developing Applied Diamond Services at SRC, which focuses on data collection and presentation of kimberlite mini-bulk processing and diamond parcel characteristics. Ryan S

Ryan, Ph.D, P.Eng, is a Principal Engineer at SRC and has been involved in slurry research for over 12 years. Ryan conducted his graduate studies research at SRC’s Pipe Flow Technology Centre™, and after completing his Ph.D., he took on a research engineering role with SRC. Ryan specializes in modelling slurry pipeline flows, as well as planning, designing, managing and conducting slurry pipe flow experiments. He is one of the instructors of the SRC-Paterson & Cooke Slurry Pipeline Systems Course.
