Erica Emery

Erica Emery is a Research Engineer with the Process Development Group in SRC's Energy division. She has experience in process design and simulation, bench top reactor operation (batch and continuous), technology assessment and validation, experimental design and project management.

Peng (Mars) Luo

Peng (Mars) Luo is the R&D Technical Advisor of the Enhanced Oil Recovery Processes Business Unit. His major technical responsibility is to conduct applied research and development on EOR technologies and laboratory engineering design for the petroleum industry’s EOR projects.

Ryan Jansen

Ryan Jansen is a Research Engineer and has been working in the area of alternative energy at the Saskatchewan Research Council since 2009. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007, and is currently a Masters of Science Candidate in Electrical Engineering specializing in the area of reliability. He is a P. Eng. and has technical expertise in areas including renewable energy systems, remote monitoring systems, programming, microgrids, and district heating systems.

Mike Crabtree

Mike Crabtree is President and Chief Executive Officer of SRC. He has over 35 years of R&D experience spanning a range of industrial sectors, holds a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and currently serves on the boards of several Canadian and US companies, as well as the Canadian Heavy Oil Association. Prior to his current role, he served as SRC’s Vice-President of Energy for over five years, was the Chief Commercial Officer at Carbon Engineering Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, the founder and CEO of Oilflow Solutions Inc. and has also held various senior roles with Schlumberger.
