Marc van Burck

van burck srcMarc van Burck serves as CEO of HPS Food & Ingredients, a vertically integrated genetics and food ingredient company based in Saskatoon with processing operations across North America and Europe. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Earlier in his career, Marc worked in London and New York in investment banking, specializing in natural resources and energy, with a focus on investment evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. After more than a decade abroad, he returned to Canada to lead HPS, driving its growth, digital innovation, and value-added processing initiatives. He also contributes his financial, governance, and technology expertise as a board member on several organizations across Western Canada.

Marc brings deep experience in capital markets, entrepreneurial development, and international business, and is strongly committed to expanding value-added processing within Canada’s resource-based industries.
