Kurtis Doney is currently the Deputy City Manager, City Operations at the City of Regina. As part of the executive leadership team Kurtis is responsible for overseeing many of the City’s frontline services including the Water and Solid Waste Utility, Roadways and Transportation, Transit and Fire and Protective Services within the City of Regina. This position allows him to work with a diverse group of colleagues to ensure reliable service is provided to the residents of Regina.

Kurtis graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. Kurtis has been registered as a professional engineer in Saskatchewan since 2010. Kurtis was elected as an Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) Councillor from 2018-2021 and volunteered with the APEGS Environmental and Sustainability Committee from 2011-2016. Kurtis was also on the board of directors of the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council from 2021-2023.
