Paul Paynter focuses on building and developing single and multi-client applied research opportunities for SRC with leading energy players and associations, in addition to working with SMEs and the venture capital/private equity community in the selective support of new technology development.
Prior to joining SRC, Paul Paynter was the National Marketing Manager for the energy sector at KPMG. He also worked at Calgary Economic Development, developing trade and inward investment opportunities for Calgary companies in the energy sector. Prior to joining Calgary Economic Development, Paul was Director of UK Trade and Investment in Calgary. Paul holds a Master of Arts in PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) from Oxford University, and a Marketing Diploma from the UK’s Institute of Marketing.
