Jess was born and raised in the Yukon. He recently made the move with his family to the greener pastures Saskatchewan, after seeing the opportunity and growth the province offered. He holds a degree in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia. He has held various positions as a policy analyst, including for the Yukon Government and Yukon University, as well as being appointed to the position of Senior Advisor to three Ministers of Health and to the Office of the Premier. He enjoys spending his free time coaching boxing and whitewater paddle boarding.
