Ian is the Remediation Manager in SRC's Environment and Biotech Division. He leads an inter-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers and support staff tasked with the remediation of 37 former Cold War legacy uranium mine and mill sites. Ian has a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University, and has previously served as Regional Manager at Quantum Murray LP, and as a Project Scientist with both SNC-Lavalin Environment and O’Connor Associates (Parsons). Ian has more than 15 years of environmental remediation experience and has successfully managed more than 200 remediation and site decommissioning projects in Western and Northern Canada. Areas of expertise include remediation design, remediation project management, cost estimation, structural demolition, mine closure and waste management.
