Mark Johnston

Dr. Mark Johnston is a Distinguished Scientist in SRC’s Environment Division. He has worked at SRC since 2001 in the areas of forest ecology and climate change. Most recently, he helped lead a national study on the vulnerability of Canada’s forest sector to the impacts of climate change. He continues to work with the forest industry and government to assist them in understanding climate change impacts and how they can adapt to these changes.

Chris Reid

Chris Reid is an Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer, educated at the University of Saskatchewan. He is a Masters of Science Candidate in Civil and Geological Engineering. His expertise is in geo-environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry. Chris is part of SRC’s Project CLEANS environmental remediation team. He wears many hats in his role, which encompasses technical reviews of project work, project planning and management, reporting and logistics coordination, as well as a broad variety of field work from site assessments to routine sampling.
