Personal Information Collection, Use and Disclosure Procedure for Vendor Registration

PLEASE NOTE: In the event you do not consent to the use and/or disclosure of the Personal Information required under this registration process and as more particularly described below, please do not complete the online registration process and instead contact SRC Purchasing at purchasing@src.sk.ca.

1) Personal Information

In order to acquire goods and services, SRC is required to collect Personal Information, as defined in The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Saskatchewan) or any similar legislation in force, about potential vendors and/or their representatives.

2) Purposes

Personal Information collected may be used for any or all of the following purposes:

  • to enable SRC to assess and potentially enter into commercial relationships with registered vendors
  • to be provided to third parties, including but not limited to contractors, for the purposes of connecting the vendor with such third parties to facilitate the potential entering into of commercial relationships in the carrying out of SRC work or projects
  • to ensure that vendor information is accurate and current

3) Disclosure

SRC may disclose Personal Information:

  • as required or permitted under The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Saskatchewan) or any similar legislation in force
  • to third parties, including but not limited to contractors, for the purposes of connecting the vendor with such third parties to facilitate the potential entering into of commercial relationships in the carrying out of SRC work or projects
  • to professionals or contractors acting on behalf of SRC
  • to any other person as required or permitted by law

4) Withdrawal of Consent

The vendor and/or its representatives may refuse to consent to the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information. The vendor and/or its representatives may withdraw a previously given consent at any time by contacting SRC Purchasing at purchasing@src.sk.ca.

5) Accuracy

The vendor and/or its representatives must provide SRC with accurate and up-to-date Personal Information. Failure to do so may inhibit or prevent the vendor from being contacted by SRC.

6) Compliance with Privacy Legislation

SRC acknowledges and represents that Personal Information that is collected shall be used or disclosed only for the purposes for which it was collected or for use consistent with those purposes and in accordance with The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Saskatchewan) or any similar legislation in force.
