SRC assists Saskatchewan industry in becoming globally competitive by responsibly applying science and technology.

We are also dedicated to being a socially responsible organization. We demonstrate this commitment by implementing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and, for the first time, submitting our CSR Report to the Global Reporting Initiative™ (GRI), which sets international guidelines for sustainability reporting.

 In the 2010-11 fiscal year, SRC:

  • Had an economic impact of $527 million on Saskatchewan.
  • Undertook $37 million in projects focused on achieving positive social and environmental benefits.
  • Reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 9,051 tonnes, equivalent to the amount produced by 1,775 passenger vehicles in a year, through projects for clients.
