- Implementing a recognition and reward program for safety performance
- Established the Bright Award for Health and Safety as one of SRC’s annual corporate awards
- Established Safe Behaviour and Attitude Award
- 3 Steps to Safety posters initiative which features SRC employees demonstrating safe work practices
- Distribution of internal safety newsletters
- Vast database of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) available through internal Intraweb
- Safety resource centre
