The Atmospheric Sciences section studies atmospheric processes that affect agricultural and forestry production as well as human health and the environment.
Our Services:
- We help industry deal with emissions through atmospheric diffusion modeling and monitoring, allowing them to take the steps to keep their operations viable.
- For industry and government clients we perform the following environmental impacts: air quality diffusion modeling and air pollution regional monitoring studies.
- We develop instrument packages to monitor the atmosphere for client-specific projects with lasers.
- Our services have helped us understand the interactions between the boreal forests and the atmosphere.
- Our services have focused on the application of surface meteorology data systems to customer requirements.
- SRC Atmospheric Sciences is recognized as a North American leader in monitoring pesticide spray drift and in assessing sprayer technologies.
- We assist clients with their wind energy program with Sound Detection (SODAR) technology. SODAR is an acoustic system that can remotely measure wind speed and turbulence in the atmosphere.
