The Air Quality section specializes in collecting and analyzing various airborne elements and compounds (i.e., metals, organic and inorganic materials, and airborne aerosols).
Ambient air monitoring is conducted for SO2, HsS, NOx, O3, and PM2.5.
- (i.e., asbestos fibers, particulate, PM 2.5-10 and volatile organic compounds)
Our Services
We offer a full range of air sampling and monitoring services, including:
- industrial stack emission testing and gaseous sampling including: in-stack sizing, full metal analysis, dioxin and furan sampling, volatile organic sampling (eg: CO, CO2, SO2, Cl2, NOx, NH3) PM-2.5 in-stack sizing
- industrial hygiene assessments for measuring indoor airborne contaminants (i.e., asbestos fibers, particulate, and volatile organic compounds)
- environmental monitoring of hazardous waste sites
- emissions characterization projects for industrial, mining, chemical manufacturing, and utility companies
SRC Air Quality is respected for our expertise in environmental chemistry, computer applications, material identification, and air sampling techniques. Chemical analysis is done at SRC's modern, fully equipped Environmental Analytical Laboratories.
The lab is certified by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA) and follows a rigorous quality control and quality assurance program.
Benefits
We can help:
- with environmental guidelines and regulations related to airborne emissions
- assist economic development by assessing air quality issues in new and developing industries
