New Wheat DNA Team Members
SRC GenServe Laboratories™ has been working at validating the preliminary wheat DNA test science provided by AAFC to ensure that it is the right platform for an efficient, reliable commercial test for wheat classes and varieties.
We recently boosted our scientific expertise by adding new members to the wheat DNA team. These new members will strengthen our team and help us carry out the wheat DNA test validation and commercialization in a timely and efficient manner.
These new additions include:
- a new Project Leader
- a new Laboratory Manager
- two new PhD-level research scientists, and
- two new Laboratory Technologists.
Provided they validate the wheat DNA science, our enhanced team will focus on delivering a rapid what DNA test to identify wheat classes and will look to develop a commercial DNA test for wheat varieties in the future.
