Bioprocessing
SRC's Bioprocessing Business Unit works with clients to commercialize bioprocessing technologies and seamlessly transfer technology applications that meet their needs. The Bioprocessing Unit focuses on optimizing bioindustrial technology platforms to make bioproductions faster, cleaner and more efficient.
Services
Our unit offers the following services:
- Third-party technology assessments: We provide independent assessments of technology providers for clients in Saskatchewan.
- Commercial technology assessments: We produce detailed assessments of commercial technological solutions.
- Process improvement: We work with industry clients to improve their processes through energy and water integration as well as through new technology.
- Syngas utilization: We develop and test catalytic systems that convert syngas to chemicals and transportation fuels.
- Pyrolysis product utilization: We develop and evaluate new technologies to add value to biomass pyrolysis products.
People
Our employees have trained extensively in chemistry and chemical engineering. Team members are trained in quality procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
