Dr. Dennis Fitzpatrick is Vice-President (Research) at the University of Regina. He is the past Vice-President (Research) of the University of Lethbridge, where he was involved with strategic planning, project development and funding for numerous large institutional research initiatives. His successes include developing the University of Lethbridge’s first industry partnership with the Alberta Terrestrial Imaging Corporation, funding for the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Water Research, a SSHRC Community University Research Alliance Grant, an NSERC Capacity Development Grant and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Polaris Award. Dr. Fitzpatrick has served on the executive for a number of scientific societies and several national boards, and is currently chair of Genome Alberta's Board of Directors. |
| Ronn Lepage is president of VerEco Homes Inc., a company focused on helping Canadians build smart green homes. Prior to that, Ronn was a partner at Deloitte where he worked for over 30 years. Ronn is a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Management Consultant and a LEED Green Associate. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Computers. Ronn is studying to complete his Masters of Science in Environmental Strategy. His research is focused on the adoption of green building technologies in residential housing. |
Jamie McIntyre is a business consultant/advisor. He was formerly vice-president, Environmental Leadership with Cameco Corporation. In his two decades with Cameco, Jamie held various leadership roles, including director-level appointments in Investor Relations, Corporate Relations and Sustainable Development, and manager-level appointments in Human Resources, Training and Aboriginal Relations. His responsibilities in these roles extended to Cameco’s global operations. Jamie has extensive knowledge and leadership experience in human resources, community relations, corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship. He has served on many boards and working groups at the local, provincial, national and international level. |
Patricia Cook is the Vice-President of Corporate Affairs for the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA). She joined SIGA in July 2005. She oversees SIGA’s communications, public relations, community relations, stakeholder relations, responsible gaming, corporate planning and policy administration. Previously, she was employed by the Prince Albert Grand Council, including a position as their Director of Operations. Pat is a graduate of The Directors College Chartered Director Program and the University of Regina. She has also earned her Certificate of Aboriginal Leadership, Governance and Management Excellence from the Banff School of Management. |
