Uranium & Geochemistry

The uranium industry has seen a historic increase in demand in recent years. SRC Geoanalytical Laboratories have been providing high quality uranium analysis for over 35 years. In the past year we have expanded our current facilities to meet changing needs of our customers.

To simplify your exploration projects, the laboratory offers a range of  Geochemical exploration packages:

• Uranium Exploration ICP Package
• New ICP MS Exploration package for sandstones and non-mineralized samples
• Comparable uranium analysis ICP / ICP MS and uranium by Fluorimetry
• Additional analysis such as boron, LOI, etc., are also available.

The laboratory is licensed to handle and store radioactive materials. In the sample preparation area there are dedicated preparation areas for radioactive, mineralized and non-radioactive samples.

The laboratory ensures all samples analyzed are done in accordance with validated methods.

All analysis is conducted in accordance with internal quality control protocols:

• Analysis of certified standards, where available
• Analysis of in-house reference materials
• Analysis of replicate samples
• Analysis of Quality Control samples

All quality control protocols are monitored to assess each process /method.

Instrumentation

The laboratory has a range of analytical instrumentation available to analyze samples: including ICP MS, ICP–OES (axial and dual), Spectrofluorimeter, Atomic absorption spectrometer.

All equipment is checked on a daily basis using commercially available calibration solutions.
