Management System Accreditation
The laboratory management system at the laboratories operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (CAN-P-4E), General Requirements for the Competence of Mineral Testing and Calibration laboratories.
The management system and the Caustic Fusion Method for the determination of Diamonds is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (Scope of accreditation # 537).
Internal Audit Programme
All processes performed at the laboratory are subject to a strict audit programme, which is performed by approved trained quality professionals.
Training
All personnel at the laboratory are involved in a training program which focuses on all aspects of the process: safety, quality and process controls. Training programs are regularly reviewed to ensure that they are adequate. The laboratory management actively seeks to improve the competence of its personnel.
Proficiency Testing
The laboratory has participated in proficiency testing program organized by CANMET (CCRMP/PTP-MAL) received a certificate of proficiency from CANMET for base metals and precious metal assaying.

Interlaboratory Testing
Geoanalytical Laboratories participates in a number of interlaboratory analyses for all our methods. These results are used to assess the quality of the methods used at the laboratory.
Quality Control (QC)
The quality control processes at the laboratory are continuously monitored by the Quality Assurance Department.
