The SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories provide environmental test services and expertise in organic, inorganic and radiochemistry, including the use of a SLOWPOKE II nuclear reactor. As one of Canada's most complete analytical chemistry laboratories, our skilled team of professionals provide analytical services from environmental analysis, water chemistry, and microbiology to hazardous waste classification, industrial hygiene, trace organics, and radiochemical analysis utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation.

SRC Environmental Analytical is accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA) for environmental testing procedures. We also maintain a comprehensive quality control and quality assurance program.

Our team of chemists and technologists are available to provide solutions to analytical problems. We can advise you how to prepare and handle samples and supply sample containers and preservatives free of charge.When it comes to measuring water quality, careful collecting and handling of water samples is crucial to ensure they represent their original environment. SRC's Environmental Analytical Laboratories has produced a video to help clients follow proper procedures when collecting and submitting a water sample to the lab. The 15-minute video features SRC employees demonstrating sampling procedures inside the laboratory and in the field. CSA Z-1000 Occupational Health and Safety Management Standard
In March 2009, SRC Environmental Analytical announced compliance with the CSA Z-1000 Standard. This Standard specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). Its' purpose is to enable an organization to improve its occupational health and safety performance, and thus reduce or prevent occupational injuries, illnesses, and fatalities.
The standard emphasizes the need for worker participation in the operation of the management system to ensure that all employees contribute to the organization's success.
