SRC Environmental Analytical Laboratories tests agricultural products to verify compliance with various requirements. Products tested include all types of grains and seeds, seed oils, plants, plant extracts and vitamins.
Pesticide/Herbicide Residues
Organic growers need to provide verification that their products or raw materials are free of pesticides and herbicides. We can test for a wide range of herbicides and pesticides including:
- Phenoxy Herbicide Group
- Organo-Chlorine Group
- Neutral Herbicides Group
- Pesticides/Organo-Phosphorus Group
- Soil Sterilants
- Carbamate Pesticide Group
Trace Metals
Many countries have limits for trace metals in agricultural products. We can test for awide range of trace metals. Our ICP-MS scan includes:
Ag, Al, As, B, Ba, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Sn, Sr, Ti, Tl, U, V, Zn
Radioactivity
Many European countries have guidelines for radioactive isotopes in agricultural products. We can test for a wide range of isotopes including:
- Cadmium 109
- Cerium 144
- Cesium 134
- Iodine 131
- Manganese 54
- Ruthenium 103
- Tin 113
