Established in 1947 to advance physical sciences in Saskatchewan, SRC is now a market-driven company that sells services and products to companies in Saskatchewan and around the world.

Our Impact

SRC’s 2009-10 annual economic impact assessment shows that last year:

  • We achieved more than $542 million in direct economic benefit to Saskatchewan.
  • Our work created or maintained over $54-million worth of jobs.
  • We performed $31.8 million in contract R&D services for external clients.
  • We undertook more than $26 million in projects aimed at creating positive environmental and social impacts.
  • Our work reduced at least 10,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and saved over 29 million kWh/year of energy.
