Our Impact
SRC’s 2009-10 annual economic impact assessment shows that last year:
- We achieved more than $542 million in direct economic benefit to Saskatchewan.
- Our work created or maintained over $54-million worth of jobs.
- We performed $31.8 million in contract R&D services for external clients.
- We undertook more than $26 million in projects aimed at creating positive environmental and social impacts.
- Our work reduced at least 10,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and saved over 29 million kWh/year of energy.
